Feel Good Friday

Retailers and businesses in the city centre come together to host Feelgood Friday on May 26th.
On the last Friday of every month pop-up events are organised to take place in locations across the city centre. Last year Feel Good Friday proved to be a great success as retailers and traders also came on board running promotions and hosting events coinciding with Feel Good Friday. We are hoping to build on last year’s success by making this year’s events the best yet! Feel Good Friday 2017 kicks off Friday 26th May and we are delighted to announce that Music Generation will be headlining the first event! If you would like to run any events or promotions in association with Feel Good Friday please email Sarah with the details at:

Transport for Cork City
A dedicated website has been created to update people on current and planned traffic changes and roadworks around the city centre. Transport for Cork City is designed to create an attractive, accessible and sustainable city centre environment for residents, workers, shoppers and visitors through more efficient management of traffic on central city streets. Music Cork

The Irish Examiner Cork City Marathon
The Irish Examiner Cork City Marathon will take place on Sunday 4th June 2017 including Marathon, Half Marathon and Marathon Relay. Closing date for registration is May 12th.. Soul in the City

Cork Harbour Festival
Cork Harbour Festival is a week-long celebration of Ireland’s unique maritime heritage, set in the second largest natural harbour in the world. This year’s festival takes place 3 – 11 June 2017. More info.

Dragon Boat Race
Meitheal Mara are again organising the very popular Inter Firm & Inter Services Dragon Boat Race this year on Saturday 13th May. Its always a fun day by the Port of Cork.
